A sequel to the fic "A Few Reasons Why...". I diddn't have to write it, but I just couldn't resist . As always, opinions appreciated. The Pretender and all related elements are the sole property of NBC etc.....you know how it goes *smile*. One More Reason By Nirvana Kliese Broots looked up from the monitor proudly. "We have a hit." He smiled as Miss Parker and Sydney entered the room. Miss Parker raised her eyebrows at him. "Where's boy wonder gone to now?" She queried, her mind still buzzing from her previous encounter with Jarod over a month ago. He turned back to the screen and kept typing. "Well, um, according to this he's at.. The White Dove Motel, Kentucky." He stated, turning to face them. Miss Parker exchanged glances with Sydney. "I'll go." She said after a moment. Sydney started to shake his head at her. "Miss Parker, last time you went alone," "Last time I went alone I caught him." She cut him off, her voice sharp. "Unfortunately a hurricane came between us." She turned to leave. "I don't anticipate that happening this time." * * * * She climbed out of the cab in font of the large facility. "So this is where he chooses to go." She mumbled walking closer. "May I help you?" She hissed turning back to the cab. The driver quickly started the cab and drove off. She shook her head and smiled to herself, she loved having power. She walked in to the lobby and walked to the front desk. "Excuse me," She smiled at the lady sitting there. "I'm looking for Mr. Jarod Smith?" She said sweetly. The lady turned to her monitor and smiled. "Miss Parker right?" She asked, looking up. Miss Parker frowned. "Why yes." "Jarod has a message here for me to send you right in, he's in room 57." She shook her head confused. He knew she was coming, yet he stayed? He mind began to spin with fearful excitement at the many things he may have planned. She pushed those thoughts aside for a moment and thanked the secretary. She then turned, and started to walk toward room 57. * * * * She pushed the door open cautiously, her heart beat loud in her ears at what she may find behind it. She stepped inside to see Jarod smiling at her from the opposite side of the room. "You knew I was coming." She said softly, approaching him cautiously. "I always know." He replied, stepping closer to her, his breathing quickening with every step. "But you see I have a theory." He raised his eyebrows cheekily. "A theory?" She asked, now standing only inches away from him. "And what would that be?" He reached up and ran his finger down the soft white skin of her neck, touching lighter than a feather. Her senses immediately began to work overtime at his suggestive touch, her mind wandering further and further from their present conversation. Finally he drew his mind away from his other thoughts for a moment and answered her almost forgotten question. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." He finished, his voice deep and suggestive. He finally stepped forward, closing the gap between them as he pulled her to him, encircling her feminine form with his strong arms. He kissed her with all the passion of their last encounter and so much more. Forgotten longing engulfed her as she surrendered further to the kiss. They pulled away for barely a moment to look at each other before allowing their passions to join once more. They closed the shrinking gap between them as their mouths found eachother again, moving in and out, as their ritual of desire became the very essence that joined them. He tore his lips from hers, moving them across her face, planting soft kisses everywhere he could find. He moved to her earlobe and took it between his teeth, nibbling playfully and yet it aroused more of her growing passions than she imagined possible. She let out a whimper of pleasure as she disappeared into the very depths of desire. She pulled his lips back to hers, allowing the desire to be fueled by their kiss. He let out a soft moan of ecstasy as the tumbled to the floor, both lost in the moment, in eachother. Her hands wandered over him frantically. They slid to his lower back as she began to untuck his crisp white shirt. She felt him surrender to his touch, his desire as apparent as hers. He felt almost surprised at the intensity of their encounter, never having expected his words to be this right. She traced the outline of his lips with her finger, her touch gentle, yet passion filled. He fumbled with the buttons of her blouse, undoing them one by one as his hands were drawn to her soft feminine curves. She arched back at his touch, a soft murmur of desire ebbing from her parted lips. She leaned forward and slackened against him, enjoying the feeling of their heated bodies so close. "You know." She purred breathlessly. "I really should take you back." He let out a throaty chuckle. "I thought I gave you a few reasons not to." He whispered, his hot breath cascading across her sensitive skin like tongues of fire. "You did," She smiled, her head resting against his chest. "But I need one more reason why." She stated, daring him to show her as he had before. He lifted his head to look into her eyes. "Do you?" He asked playfully, his eyes burning with desire. "Well, how about this..." He started, his voice trailing off as his hands began to wander again, this time resting at the back of her skirt, unzipping it slowly. She smiled at his touch, kissing him again as they lost themselves in the answer she was looking for. The end ;)
